I'm Jeff. I'm a geek. I believe God wired me this way on purpose.
I don't have it all figured out. I have a chronic illness, a head full of ideas, and a faith that looks nothing like what you'd find on a Sunday morning stage.
My family has been hurt by the church. Real hurt, real casualties. I don't blame God for that. I blame the fallen nature of man — which is, if you've read your Bible honestly, exactly what you'd expect.
I've read Mere Christianity more times than I can count and pulled something new out of it every time. I follow threads wherever they go — technology, faith, music, whatever is real and honest.
I build things. I write when something is worth saying. No brand. No agenda. Just a guy trying to steward what he was given.
Why anointedgeek?
In the Old Testament, kings, priests, and prophets were anointed — set apart and equipped by the Spirit for a specific work.
I'm not a king or a priest. I'm just a geek who believes God gave me something specific: the ability to understand technology at a depth I've rarely seen in others — not just one piece of it, but how all the pieces coexist. Networking. Infrastructure. Systems. How they talk to each other all the way down.
I didn't build that. I was given it. Anointedgeek is what happens when you take that seriously — using what you were given, for something bigger than yourself.
